The Musicians

New Castle Brass brings a wealth of experience to your event.  As concert artists, we have performed in some of the world's most respected halls, including Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Avery Fisher Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Opera House, and on Broadway.  Our musicians have recorded with successful artists in a variety of genres, and have been heard on major radio and television networks, including ABC, ESPN, VH1 and NPR.

Our experience at private events

is equally impressive.  We've performed at the Waldorf-Astoria, the Hotel Pierre, the Museum of Natural History, and countless catering halls, parks and gardens throughout the New York City area.  We have collaborated at literally hundreds of houses of worship of various faiths and denominations.

The Music

New Castle Brass specializes in classical music that is lively, ceremonial music that is impressive and majestic, light classics that are upbeat & fun, music of somber character when the occasion demands, and jazz & ragtime that is whimsical, classic, and brilliant.

Our core performing group

is a brass quartet - 2 trumpets, horn and trombone (sometimes 2 trombones).  We often work as a brass quintet, too, and we offer all brass instrument combinations from trumpet soloist to a large ensemble.  For some extra excitement, you can add a percussionist!  We also have a roster of excellent classical vocalists, first-rate organists, and concert pianists to complete the picture.
